April 7th, 2020 - Assistant Principal's Week

This is Assistant Principal's Week.

After a big win at the Senior Lock-In

I love these guys. I'm sure none of them knew what they were getting into when they came on board, and that was before a pandemic.
  • Mr. Wood has done an amazing job working with the science/engineering groups, teaming with Ms. Anderson to support the Class of 2021, and improving facilities/safety.
  • Dr. Borrego is one of the best listeners in the building. He's built community within the ELAR department, invested in improving EL support, and helped shepherd our sophomores with Ms. Mervine. His birthday was this past weekend, too.
  • Other than blowing a call at first base in a Wildcat scrimmage (j/k), Mr. Meaker has been an incredible asset to campus. He's jumped in to look after our seniors, oversee technology, improve our 504 process, and advocate for our Social Studies department.
And they all do so much more. They're truly great men, and we're fortunate to have them at Woodrow. I am better because of them and hope you all feel the same way. Make sure to show them some virtual love and appreciation this week.
