Woodrow Families:

We have created this blog to post announcements related to Woodrow Wilson High School. While we will continue to use School Messenger's call out and email features, this site will allow us to host helpful links and routine updates. You can also use the button above to subscribe so that posts are emailed to you if that is easier.

Yesterday it was announced that in order "to slow the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the community, all Dallas ISD schools will close indefinitely. This action follows advice from the Dallas County Health and Human Services department (DCHHS)." Read more here.

At-Home Learning Support
  • The District's "At-Home Learning" site can be found HERE.
  • The Instructional Leadership Team is revising an Online Learning Campus Expectations document and a Virtual Classroom Reference Sheet where our stakeholders can find links to our classrooms and communication tools. These will be linked by the end of the week.
  • Multiple Internet carriers like Spectrum are offering free wifi for families of students.
  • We are working on a plan to get laptops to students who didn't get one on Friday.
Despite this wealth of information, I know there are many questions that are still unanswerable at this time. Your primary goal right now should be taking care of yourself and your loved ones by following the CDC guidance on social distancing and hygiene.

Over the next few days we will post additional information in preparation for At-Home Learning.

Thank you all for your patience and support during this time.
