March 26th, 2020 - Attendance, Tech Support, Meal Assistance, Instructional Adjustments
Great Job!
Yesterday, we had 85% of our students log in and complete the "Daily Check In" form! That's amazing for the first day of a new system. That also lets us know most students have access to technology and wifi and gives us specific people to follow up with. Great job!

Meal Assistance
Dallas ISD meals will be provided at J.L. Long M.S.

Instructional Adjustments
We are working to clarify and support expectations. Students need to know expectations at the beginning of the week and have the flexibility to work through a week's worth of expectations. There are too many platforms for instruction and communication. Instruction needs to be asynchronous vs. synchronous. Requiring all parties to be in the same place at the same time isn't feasible right now. We will work on cleaning this up as we head into week two.
If there are teachers doing exceptionally well, please let us know in the comments below so that we can connect them with their peers and replicate what they are doing.
